Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

Contract: Full-time (36.25 hours per week)

Location: Remote (United Kingdom)

AES Sustainability Consultants Ltd is an award-winning consultancy firm that works with some of the leading UK housebuilders and developers, delivering high quality energy and sustainability advice and assessments to the construction and property industries. We pride ourselves on the accuracy of our assessments and our strong customer relationships. As a business, we are rapidly growing and are looking for a new, eager and energetic person to be part of our team.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, self-motivated LCA Consultant to be part of our team delivering LCA assessments and consultancy in relation to the London Plan, BREEAM etc for both domestic and non-domestic buildings.

This is a home/office-based role. A full driving licence would be preferable as site visits may be required. Experience of using One Click LCA software is essential.

The successful candidate will be a team player with the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues. Good attention to detail is essential as the role requires a high degree of accuracy and organisation skills.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Producing Whole Life-Cycle Carbon Assessments using One Click LCA software
  • Communicating with Developers and other members of the Design Team
  • Developing and leading a team of consultants
  • Managing the delivery and growth of our LCA service

Competencies:

Essential:

  • Have experience of using the One Click LCA software
  • Be computer literate and have a good level of general education, particularly in Maths, Science and English
  • Have an ability to visualise in 3D and interpret technical drawings
  • Be able to self-manage a busy and time-critical schedule of work
  • Have prior experience in a client-facing situation
  • Have excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Be a team player and maintain good humour in times of stress
  • Be self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
  • Have a full clean driving licence

Desirable:

  • Experience and accreditation in On Construction Energy assessment would be beneficial
  • Experience of carrying out dynamic simulation using IES VE software would be an advantage
