Field Service Team Leader required for a high-end, B2B service-based company based in Essex.
Although the company are rapidly expanding and now cover most of the UK, this role will cover the West side of London.
- Managing a team of 10+ Service Technicians, this will involve working with the management team and planners to ensure an exceptional customer experience within service maintenance visits. This includes:
- Full responsibility for managing a team of service technicians to ensure the team delivers a high level of customer service hitting agreed NPS and KPI targets.
- Work with the Field Service Planner and Regional Service Manager to ensure that the team are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Work with the team and Field Service Planner to find creative, fast, and efficient solutions to customer challenges.
- Supervise, identify, and suggest improvements to maintenance processes to improve quality and efficiency.
- Work with the troubleshooter and technician team when required onsite at clients.
- Maintain and manage wholesale supply in emergencies (when the technician/ troubleshooter is unable to).
- Assist with site audits as and when required.
- Assist team with fleet management.
This is very much a KPI based role which will involve managing your time effectively to achieve these, as opposed to working on a specific schedule. This will involve being on the road, however there will be some administrative work that can possible be done remotely.
The successful candidate will need:
- Line management experience (ideally a remote / on-site maintenance team).
- Experience in working with B2B corporate clients.
- Experience with H&S practices ideal.
- Strong organisational & planning abilities.
- Able to work under pressure and within required timescales.
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable but training will be provided)
- Driving licence to travel around the region, but public transport could be used depending on candidate location).
Here are some further details due to the remote nature of the role:
- Vehicle, laptop, phone all provided.
- This role will require practical work from time to time so candidates must be physically fit to complete these tasks.
- Candidates must be 'early birds' and willing to start their working day from 5:30/6am (on the plus side, early finishes!).
- Successful candidates may need to apply for relevant DBS checks and complete security vetting procedures for some clients.
