We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our clients team as a Senior Occupational Therapist on a permanent basis. Our client specialises in supporting people with acquired brain injuries and neurological conditions.
Key responsibilities:
- Holistic assessments and treatment of complex neurological patients.
- Setting and reviewing SMART goals within formal and informal sessions, and supporting clients, families and staff to work towards these goals.
- you'll be required to set realistic expectations for outcomes and communicate these effectively, to facilitate timely discharge planning.
- Engage in appropriate community activities, and complete access and home visits across Lancashire and South Cumbria to facilitate assessments and graded discharges.
Requirements:
- Hold a degree in Occupational Therapy or an equivalent qualification.
- Be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
- Possess substantial experience working in a rehabilitation setting.
- Demonstrate experience working within a neurological setting / with neurological patients.
