Sales and Account Manager

We're thrilled to be partnering with Institute of Risk Management to recruit a newly created role Sales and Account Manager.

This is a really exciting time to join the Institute to capitalise on the commercial growth within their training and advisory services and products.

Within this varied role you will build effective relationships with HR departments within medium to large global organisations and a myriad of influencers from across the risk management space.

Contributing to the design and mobilisation of the teams strategy for programme delivery and sales, converting at scale, sales opportunities and sales relationships.

Main duties include:

  • Delivering against target.
  • Partnering with marketing team to create effective campaigns.
  • Follow up of leads generated adopting a consultative approach.
  • Using needs analysis to convert to tangible and profitable business relationships.
  • Contact Risk leaders and Key decision makers and follow leads via phone/email (both warm and cold) to discuss IRM programmes & services.
  • Lead consultative sales meetings with senior leaders and decision makers in medium to large organisations globally to drive take up of our services and programmes.
  • Develop and deliver regional, programme-level sales strategies for IRM delivered programmes & services.

If you have the following skills and experience, we would love to hear from you:

  • Experience of selling consultancy and/or education-related services to international markets.
  • Ability to build relationships with external stakeholders at a senior level.
  • Experience of managing accounts of varying sizes and generating sales from these accounts.
  • Consultative sales experience with evidence of hitting B2C or B2B sales targets.
  • Experience of both selling into cold markets whilst also generating increased repeat business from existing customers.
  • Skilled at persuasive writing and using a range of strategies to impact and influence.
  • Highly organised and thrives on multi-tasking in a target-driven environment
  • Experience of effectively managing a sales pipeline and using data to drive robust decision making and improve results.
