What it's like to work here

Reporting to our Internal Communications Consultant, you'll connect with colleagues across the Trust to make things happen.

National Trust staff and volunteers do a huge variety of incredible work in amazing places - caring for buildings and collections, looking after landscapes, working in our cafes and shops and a whole lot more. In this role you'll be part of the Trust's internal consultancy offering specialist skills and expertise. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team of advisors, and a network of internal communications professionals across the charity.

While you'll have a contracted office base there will be an opportunity to explore and agree hybrid working arrangements that strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

What you'll be doing

You'll be involved in managing and developing internal communications channels for our staff and volunteers across the region. You'll collate and co-ordinate regional content for those channels; content that informs, engages and inspires colleagues.

As a confident video editor and writer, you'll create video and copy that resonates with our teams, especially those who are based at the places we care for and not working at a desk. You'll be celebrating and sharing our team's contribution to our charitable purpose, looking after nature, beauty and history for everyone to enjoy.
