Regional Sales Manager

Role:

To manage all aspects of our clients regional accounts within the UK, ensuring the brand is well represented through all channels and anticipated growth. As a member of the UK Wholesale Team, you will make a significant contribution to the growth of the business, building strong relationships with our customers whilst continuing to open new accounts and strengthen existing distribution in your area. As part of our team's growth plans, you'll endeavour to grow key strategic categories within our brands including Footwear, Mountain & Outdoor Style.

Impact: Expectations in the role

  • Together with the Sales Manager, you'll build and deliver a short- and long-term strategy for the Region, linked to the overall business strategy.
  • You'll plan and deliver impactful range presentations at seasonal road shows and sell in appointments.
  • In collaboration with your Customer Support Representative & the Merchandising Team, you'll complete seasonal forecasting to ensure your budgets are achieved and the business knows your regions product needs.
  • You'll undertake consistent order book management, ensuring forward order targets are achieved and order conversion is managed effectively and efficiently.
  • You'll ensure regular contact with the key personnel within your Accounts, carry out regular business review in season, and act as conduit between key office staff and their opposite numbers within the accounts.
  • Supported by the Marketing Team, you'll manage the marketing plans for each of the Key Accounts ensuring that we are getting the best value from each investment & we're elevating the perception of the brand at every opportunity.
  • Working closely with your Customer Support Representative, you'll carry out regular account business reviews and orderbook consolidation to ensure all opportunities are capitalised on and the business is being run efficiently.
  • To aid the Product Teams in their range development decisions, you'll regularly feedback information on your customers and competitors in the marketplace to ensure our Product Teams have the most up to date feedback.
  • You'll liaise with your Customer Support Representative on a daily/weekly basis, as well as all internal supporting departments, on a regular basis, to effectively manage your accounts & ensure that we're offering excellent service levels to all customers.
  • You'll keep your calendar up to date with all customer appointments and complete any necessary monthly reports/other admin tasks in a timely manner.
  • You'll carry out store staff training within your accounts seasonally where appropriate, to ensure new and existing product innovations are understood and can be sold effectively to the end consumer.
  • You'll identify particular areas for development within your region, be those opportunities for growth with specific accounts or focusing on product categories with untapped potential, liaising with all relevant departments to capitalise on these opportunities.
  • To undertake such tasks and duties as may be reasonably requested by your manager.
