We are looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join our client's team in Central London. They are a specialist transport planning and highways consultancy that works on a range of projects within the residential, retail, education and office schemes sectors, including a well-known football stadium and university campus!

You will have the opportunity to get involved in the commercial aspects of Transport Planning as well as technical delivery.

The role

  • Writing technical reports and preparing proposals
  • Manage and understand commercial aspects of small projects
  • Teach junior members of the team and liaise with co-professionals and clients
  • Be questioning, curious, collaborative, thorough and proactive in the delivery of projects, your own development and business opportunities
  • Using AutoCAD, TRICS, TEMPro, Junctions 10 and LinSig
  • Analysing development proposals for national, regional and local planning policies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree, master's or equivalent, experience in design software and experience working for a transport planning consultancy.
