Your new company
Due to internal promotion, this successful Group has a need for a Management Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. Supporting the Financial Controller in processing the Management Accountants for the wider group always ensuring financial compliance whilst supporting stakeholders within the Group.
Your new role
Timely, accurate, preparation and payment of the Group Payroll
Preparation of reporting submissions to HMRC for PAYE, VAT etc
Maintain bank controls and timely bank postings
Ensuring timely and accurate recording of all ledgers
Liaising, where necessary, with external advisors
Review and development of current process, identifying efficiencies and process improvements
Timely review of all intercompany balances, development of improved reporting system
Supporting periodic forecasting / budgeting / cashflow processes
Assist with preparation of Quarterly Management Accounts with the Financial Controller prior to Board Submission
Assist with development of the Finance Team
Ensure the Finance Controller is kept appraised of any material matters affecting the smooth running of the Finance Team or the Financial position of the Group
Take responsibility for preparation of Quarterly Management Accounts, for review with Financial Controller prior to Board Submission
