We are currently seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company based in Medway. This is a temporary opportunity offering up to £55,000 per annum for the right candidate with the relevant experience. The ideal candidate must be immediately available, as the role requires a start within the next two weeks.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
- Arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting.
- Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
- Offer professional judgement on financial matters and advise on ways of improving business performance.
- Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers.
- Liaise with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context.
- Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
