Senior Claims Adjuster

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Adjuster on behalf of our client, a very well established and highly regarded Lloyd's syndicate.
The key purpose of the role is to handle a portfolio of Financial Institutions and Directors and Officers Claims, providing expert technical support across the claims function as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Building effective tools, processes and governance to minimise regulatory, legal and operational risk, and ensuring operational reporting is accurate and delivered within required timelines.
- Supporting the regulatory and legislative response and adherence to standards, embedding any required change or mitigation required within the designated claims portfolio.
- Supporting the implementation of the group claims strategy to enable delivery of overall business targets and performance against KPIs.
- Investigating and resolving technical and operational issues within the designated claims portfolio.
- Providing expert technical support across the claims function as needed.
- Fostering strong relationships with brokers, third parties and our customers via multi-channel engagement and focused forums.
- Producing regular statistical and analytical Claims information to Underwriters, Claims Portfolio Head and senior leadership to enable effective monitoring of Claims.
- Developing / maintaining sufficient knowledge of the Claims portfolio to enable and provide an excellent Claims handling service with minimal leakage.
Key Requirements
- Must have previous FinPro claims handling experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
