Product Manager

An established local software product company are looking for a Product Manager to define product requirements and manage the development team's backlog, aligning development efforts with strategic business goals. This role is essential for maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the product by translating customer and stakeholder needs into actionable business requirements and promoting collaboration between product and technology teams.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

  • Manage the requirements gathering and documentation process for assigned products.
  • Develop, refine, and oversee product user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure clarity, actionability, and alignment with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Prioritise product features based on business value and user feedback, aligning development sprints and timelines with strategic goals.
  • Facilitate workshops to derive insights into project goals, configuration needs, and complex business requirements.
  • Maintain and update the Product Team board to ensure visibility and track progress on assigned products.
  • Ensure comprehensive requirement traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Validate and prioritise requirements, securing approval from customers and internal stakeholders as needed, while challenging existing assumptions.
  • Identify gaps in current products or solutions and provide feedback to enhance ongoing product roadmaps.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in product management within a business change environment.
  • Demonstrated ability in defining and implementing business analysis processes.
  • Proficiency in business analysis methodologies.
  • Knowledge of project management approaches.
  • In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, particularly Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity in a dynamic environment.
