Reed Scientific are currently working with a Lancashire based chemical company close to Blackburn who have an immediate vacancy for an analytical chemist with specific skills performing GC-MS analysis and then interpreting the results.
Duties of the role will include:
- Assist with the smooth running of the analytical department
- Prepare samples
- Carry out routine GC-MS analysis
- Analysis and interpretation of data/results
- Present results both internally and externally
Skills/Experience required:
- Chemistry related degree
- Laboratory experience – industry
- Analytical chemistry experience – gas chromatography and mass spectrometry
- Good laboratory skills
- Data analysis and interpretation
