Our Client, a leading car manufacturer are currently looking for an

Accounts Assistant

to join their business based out of their

Edgware

Dealership. This role is Part time and will be the below hours/days,

Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 08:00-17:00

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a very important role as part of the Purchase Ledger team in ensuring our clients company policies are adhered to. With great organisational skills, excellent eye for detail and good interpersonal skills, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, therefore ability to work on own initiative, and under pressure to meet deadlines is paramount as well as being a team player.

About the role

  • Process all types of invoices on our P2P system Compleat – match invoices to PO's, process direct invoices /credit notes for JCG and Holdings Companies (Coding of invoices)
  • Processing export reports daily from Compleat to CDK Drive
  • Process all types warranties and Insurance (Insurethat, Premia Solutions, Smart Insurance, TWG/LWG and Auto Protect)
  • Process inter-Company invoices including, Group Staff Car Scheme, Mobile phone bill, Postage
  • Process Daily payments for the group
  • Cash post the daily payment's
  • Provide Treasury with daily payment figures
  • Process all incoming emails
  • Supplier statement reconciliation – requesting copies of invoices/credit notes
  • Monthly supplier payment runs
  • Adhoc payments to suppliers during the month
  • Monthly staff expense journal
  • All mobile phone queries (purchases and data roaming)
  • Opening and distributing daily post within Finance
  • Monthly -inter-company reconciliation and settlement
  • Creditors Analysis (Zero tolerance on POA)
  • Involvement in company insurance, JECOS, Procurement, Supplier Contracts & Business Rates
  • Creating new supplier accounts and processing 3rd party checks on supplier details

About you

  • Have experience working as an Accounts Assistant
  • Have the ability to work in a team
  • Produce a high degree of customer service
  • Be a great communicator and have excellent organizational skills
  • Be hardworking and self-motivated
  • Relevant experience working within an accounting/finance-based environment
