This is a fantastic Assistant Commercial Accountant role which will be a great first step for a graduate or someone actively studying towards their accountancy qualification. The role will review the day to day transactional processes, prepare management accounts and provide financial analysis which will support the operational teams.

Description
- Review accounting transactions to ensure accurately coded and allocated
- Supporting the preparation of management accounts
- Maintain and supporting balance and P&L reconciliations
- Performing P&L analysis to calculate KPI's
- Supporting operational teams with commission calculations and adjustments
- Performing actual v budget variance analysis and supporting with reporting to board
- Performing ad hoc reporting / analysis on request for finance and non-finance teams
Profile
- Actively looking to/currently studying AAT/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
- Strong, relevant academics up to A-Level or equivalent
- Strong computer skills (excel is highly desirable)
- Excellent communicator: Able to demonstrate relationship building, verbal and written accuracy
- Accounting system experience is highly desirable but not essential
- Previous finance experience within professional services is highly desirable but not essential
- Clear ambition to grow and learn
Job Offer
- £25,000 - £30,000 salary
