Location: Harlestone, Northamptonshire
Salary: £42,000-£45,000 - Overtime available (£48-£50,000)
Hours: 3 on / 2 off Days Only (6:00-18.00)

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, market leading production company based in Northampton on their search for an experienced maintenance engineer to join their day shift team. The package:

  • Base Salary of between £42,000-£45,000 dependent on experience
  • Overtime available
  • 34 days holiday (Including Public Holidays) - pro rata due to shifts

The Duties:

  • Carry out PPMs, reactive breakdowns and maintenance in a timely manner to minimise machinery downtime.
  • Liaise with Engineering management & fellow engineers to resolve breakdowns efficiently, professionally & in a timely manner.
  • Carry out both mechanical and electrical fault finding on plant machinery.
  • Maintain neat and accurate documentation where required.
  • Working with other engineers on the team to maintain and repair plant machinery.
  • Adhere to company Health & Safety policies

The Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer in a food production, packaging, manufacturing, FMCG or similar industry (essential)
  • A good balance of Mechanical/Electrical Fault Finding and Repairs (essential)
  • Apprentice trained with a minimum NVQ level 3 qualification within mechanical and/or electrical engineering (essential)
  • Previous experience repairing & fault finding on components such as Motors, Gearboxes, Conveyor Systems, Converters, Inverters or PLCs (essential)
  • An openness to learn, share practices & attend training courses when needed (advantageous)
  • Full UK Drivers License
