Search Consultancy is excited to assist in recruiting a Finance Assistant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Leeds. We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in both sales and purchase ledger.
As a Finance Assistant, you will be instrumental in supporting our finance department with daily operations. Your responsibilities will include managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and maintaining accurate records. This role is ideal for someone with a strong attention to detail and a passion for numbers.
You will be responsible for preparation and processing invoices and payments, maintain accurate financial records and documentation, assisting with VAT returns, management accounts, and cash flow as well as conducting reconciliations of accounts and assists with audits. You will also collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
To be successful in this role, you should be an enthusiastic individual with a keen eye for detail and a desire for growth. You must thrive in a fast-paced environment and deliver results effectively. Ideally, you will be AAT qualified or have at least one year of relevant experience.
The role offers a salary of £28,000, along with excellent benefits and a positive work culture.
