A UK leading consultancy is urgently looking to recruit an Assistant Acoustician to join their team in Essex.
Essential requirements for this role are; a degree in Acoustics or a closely related field, ideally experience in noise surveys, data collation, noise impact report writing, and a driving license.
Typical duties of this role are project administration, undertaking noise surveys, completing basic acoustic calculations, writing reports, and assisting senior staff members.
Previous working experience in Acoustics is desirable but not essential, as is the use of noise modeling software such as Cadnaa. You need to have a positive and creative attitude to problem solving, and possess a team spirited attitude with the ability to work on your own initiative. Great attention to detail is needed at all times to complete your day to day tasks, and you must also be able to prioritise and manage your workload to meet project deadlines.
