Description
- Managing the company's financial reporting
- Overseeing and directing budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate, long range forecasting, and insurance activities for the organisation
- Evaluating the company's financial position and issuing periodic reports on the company's financial stability, liquidity, and growth
- Assisting in the development of short, medium, and long-term financial plans and projections
- Representing the company to financial partners, including financial institutions, investors, auditors, public officials, etc.
- Ensuring that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all the company's financial affairs
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key partners including banks and other financial institutions
- Leading the finance team to deliver the best possible support to the business
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- A qualification in Bridgend (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, QBE will be considered)
- A comprehensive understanding of the insurance industry
- Proven strategic planning experience at the management level
- Proficiency in using financial management software
- Exceptional communication skills
