I'm working with a fantastic organisation who are looking to add an IT Service Desk Analyst to their team to be the primary point of contact for all 1st line support queries. As part of the role the successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of technical issues for the organisations internal helpdesk, ensuring they see them through to their resolution and escalating to relevant engineers when needed.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone still in the early stages of their IT career who is wanting to work in a very hands-on environment, develop their skills and build upon their knowledge to take on 2nd line responsibilities.

Your day-to-day:

  • You'll be responsible for the internal IT service desk, taking ownership of technical issues and troubleshooting them where possible.
  • Escalating to senior IT engineers where required.
  • Liaising in-person and remotely with colleagues to diagnose their technical issues.
  • Managing tickets through the organisations ticketing system.
  • Ensuring the safety of all IT equipment.
  • Flag any BAU issues that might affect the organisations IT systems and performance.
  • Assist in training new employees on company software and hardware.

About you:

  • You'll have good technical knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
  • Experience in desktop support for both hardware and software.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies.
  • Good interpersonal skills both in-person and remotely.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tickets at the same time.

Due to the nature of this role it will close when the successful candidate is found, so if this sounds like the right role for you then apply today.
