Location: Essex

My client is looking for a UX / UI Designer with at least 6 years of agency experience to join their team in the heart of Essex.

What will you do:

  • Conduct interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand user needs and behaviours
  • Create visually appealing, brand-aligned designs that enhance user engagement and support usability.
  • Design interfaces that provide a seamless experience across various devices and screen sizes.
  • Plan and conduct usability tests to gather feedback, identify issues, and refine designs based on user interactions.
  • Work closely with developers and the wider team to align on design feasibility, functionality, and implementation.
  • Gather and analyse feedback from users and team members, iterating on designs to enhance both usability and aesthetics.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables for design projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and objectives.
  • Keep on top of industry trends, tools, and best practices in UX/UI design to continuously improve skills and knowledge.

Your experience:

  • At least 6 years of working in an agency environment.
  • Educated to degree level in a relevant field
  • High proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of other industry standard tools such as Sketch and InVision would be a bonus
  • Experience with leading a team / mentoring and guiding junior designers is also beneficial
  • Strong communication skills
  • An excellent portfolio to back your experience
