Your new role

This is a part-time role that involves working 4 days a week from the start to end of the September term. Within your new role as a computer science teacher, you will be responsible for creating, planning, and delivering engaging lessons to Key stage 3 (KS3) and Key stage 4 (KS4) students. Your responsibilities will include the marking of work, monitoring and providing constructive feedback to students. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced teacher, you will need to be confident in delivering lessons to students of mixed abilities, with excellent communication, organisational skills and team working.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent. ECTs are welcome to apply.
  • Experience teaching computer science to secondary school students.
  • Good behaviour management skills.
  • Team player attitude, with the ability to effectively collaborate with staff members.
