They have multiple offices, including Manchester, London and Liverpool however, they are keeping the roots of their business here in Lancashire, specifically Preston!

The company have a forward-thinking, employee-centred focus to their business and have a very happy, longstanding team.

The finance team is now looking for its fourth member to work alongside the FD and support with the development of the wider team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for you if you are a Practice trained, qualified Management/Financial Accountant looking for your next step up into that Financial Controller position, contributing to this businesses continued growth.

How you'll spend your time_:_

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Lead on key external relationships with key stakeholders, including external audit, payment processors and key suppliers
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control processes into business operations
  • Develop and implement cash strategies for managing third party funds
  • Set up corporate structure for foreign growth strategies
  • Review financial systems and implement changes required for growth
  • Manage internal controls of the business documenting the risks and associated policies

This opportunity will be great for you if...

  • You are ACA/ACCA qualified
  • You are practice trained and a technically strong accountant (preferably audit background)
  • You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are competent working with complex financial data
  • You have high attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills
