Mechanical Design Engineer - Stoke
Torque Consulting is currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for a global engineering business in the Stoke area that is looking to add an intermediate design engineer to its team.
The company have been a market leader for the last 25 years, designing and manufacturing custom-designed process equipment dealing with clients across the globe!
Job details:
This role will involve complex 3D design, of the company's market-leading products, whilst also overseeing projects from cradle to grave to ensure they run smoothly and meet the clients' expectations.
Some duties include:
- Ensure designs are focused towards achieving the estimated costing of the project.
- Ensure lead time to complete designs is in line with the Clients expectations
- Ensure all structural calculations are correct, taking external advice where necessary.
The ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years experience with a mechanical design role
- Any major 3D CAD packaged (Solidworks preferred)
- Experience of working in/with manufacturing/engineering
- Excellent communication skills
- Time management Skill
- A desire to learn and develop
