Working on behalf of my client, Interaction Recruitment have a great opportunity for a CNC Press Brake Operator to work for a busy Manufacturing company based near to Yeadon, Leeds on either the Afters or Night shift.
The successful candidate must have previous experience working as a CNC Press Brake Operator or have previous Sheet Metal or Machine Operation experience. You will need the ability to interpret folding drawings, be able to work out a fold sequence, have the ability to select the correct tooling and be able to Set and Operate the CNC Press Brake Machines.
Other key skills include:
- Knowledge of Amada Press Brakes would be beneficial
- Use of measuring equipment
- Problem solving
- Good communication and ability to work within a team
- Safety, Environmental and Quality awareness
- Proven track record of working with quality initiatives
- Must have a good work ethic and the ability to learn
Afters shifts are 39hrs per week, 2.15pm to 10pm from Mon to Thurs and 11am to 7pm on a Friday. Nights are 33hrs 20mins per week, 9.40pm to 6.10am Mon to Thurs. The roles are advertised as Permanent and with a starting salary of between £32,145 pa to £33,572 Depending on experience. Overtime will be available during busy periods paid at time + ½.
