Reporting to the Production Manager, The Production Planner will be responsible for creating and managing production schedules, ensuring efficient production planning and lauch of product in to the first manufacturing process. They will be responsible for booking work through the production stages on the MRP system. They will also be responsible for effective communication with various teams to coordinate production activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Monday - Friday 8.30am-5.00pm
Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Processing of orders through the Internal contract review loop.
Planning of all orders into the wax room using the synchro MRP. Includes printing of paperwork.
Creation of forward load spreadsheet (eventually from Synchro)
Booking of work done (Wax, Shell, Cast & Fettle)
International Purchasing of castings.
Maintaining the Export Log and applying for licence.
Assisting Production Controller where necessary.
Assist Production Control / Manager with ramp ups and volume jobs.
Statistic reports for KPI (New Quote response, Order Ack)
