We're seeking a talented HR Assistant to join a leading manufacturer in a brand-new role to help support their exciting people and growth plans. About the job:

  • Working closely with and supporting the HR Manager in a wide-ranging role covering the full range of employee life cycle activities.
  • Acting as an essential support to all 1st line response to all HR queries, working closely with internal managers to provide a professional and supportive role.
  • Develop a strong understanding of people management practices, HR policies and procedures as well as best practices to provide both management and employee support.
  • Keep an active and solid understanding of employment law changes to assist in the creation and constant development of policies, procedures and promoting best practice.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices and look for new and efficient ways of working.
  • Support the development and delivery a new LMS system and co-ordinate the Learning and Development needs of the business.
  • Supporting other key planned people projects and working with the HR Manager to deliver and implement new initiatives.
  • An excellent opportunity for anyone wanting to broaden their HR experience and gain further insight and workings into Learning and Development.

Ideal person specification:

  • Experienced HR Administrator or HR Assistant level
  • Ideally qualified to CIPD Level 3 or working towards
  • Exceptional people and interpersonal skills
  • Experience or an interest in the Learning and Development aspect of HR
  • Detail driven
  • Ability to get to grips with systems quickly
  • Holds a continuous improvement approach with a "can do" attitude
