Nexus Recruitment are working with an organically growing managing agent near to London Bridge who are looking for a Senior Block Manager to join the team. Your portfolio will be based in zones 1-2 and be made up of circa 200-300 units, all of which are luxury, high-end buildings. Our client is known for not taking on buildings with a number of historic issues, rather they focus on buildings that have been well-maintained for a number of years to ensure they can maintain customer and employee satisfaction. A vibrant team culture and a genuine desire from management for the team to expand their skill set, you will have a lot of opportunity to develop into further areas of the business long-term.
Core duties of the role:
- Management of your portfolio, including regular site inspections
- Set and manage the service charge budgets for your portfolio as well as year-end accounts
- Liaise with key stakeholders, building a valuable rapport
- Oversee contractors, ensuring they have the correct permits to work
- Manage a handful of on-site staff, including concierge and maintenance staff
- Ensure your portfolio is continuously compliant and up to date with relevant leasehold legalities and fire regulations
