Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CCTV Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating specialized CCTV equipment to inspect and assess the condition of underground drainage systems. Your role will involve capturing high-quality video footage, interpreting the findings, and generating detailed reports.

Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation:

• Operate a variety of CCTV equipment, including cameras, monitors, and recording devices.

• Rig and deploy CCTV cameras into underground pipes and drains.

• Maneuver cameras to capture clear and comprehensive footage of pipe interiors.

• Data Collection:

• Record accurate and detailed observations of pipe conditions, including defects, blockages, and root intrusions.

• Capture measurements of pipe diameters, lengths, and gradients.

• Document any anomalies or issues identified during inspections.

• Report Generation:

• Prepare clear and concise inspection reports, including written descriptions, diagrams, and video footage.

• Highlight any potential problems or areas of concern.

• Provide recommendations for repairs or maintenance.

• Data Analysis:

• Analyze recorded footage to identify potential issues and hazards.

• Interpret data to assess the overall condition of drainage systems.

• Quality Assurance:

• Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all inspections and reports.

• Adhere to industry standards and regulations.

• Safety Compliance:

• Prioritize safety by following all safety protocols and procedures.

• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Work in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience: Previous experience in CCTV drain inspection or a related field is preferred.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in operating CCTV equipment and software.

• Strong understanding of drainage systems and pipework.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans.

• Problem-Solving Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving abilities to identify and resolve issues.
