About the role

We're looking for an experienced leader to join our creative team in Nottingham, as a Digital Experience Manager and lead the end-to-end delivery of projects on the boots.com and boots.ie websites. We're a dynamic and diverse team of designers, copywriters and front-end developers who are passionate about creating the best digital experiences for our customers. You'll lead a creative team and work closely with stakeholders and specialists across Digital and Marketing teams across multiple business areas, to deliver best in class content. Being at the heart of Boots' online proposition, you will have the opportunity to work with numerous stakeholders across the business. You will develop expertise in the end to end digital journey, building excellent foundations for career progression.

Day to day you will;

  • Lead the implementation of plans and briefs through the digital process
  • Work closely with your business unit and marketing stakeholders, reporting on project status, understanding future plans and tactical activity
  • Work with specialists in UI, UX, Accessibility and SEO to ensure creative design and language adheres to Boots visual identity and digital design language principles
  • Oversee quality, peer reviews and sign-off processes to ensure right first-time delivery
  • Champion data and insights through the team and share learnings to inform future projects
  • Lead, develop and performance manage a team of digital specialists

What you'll need to have

  • Our ideal candidate will have recent experience of leading a creative team in a digital, agency or marketing role
  • Used to working at pace, experienced in leading multiple projects and priorities, whilst managing new requests and problem solving ‘in the moment'
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, engaging, influencing and holding others to account, and able to flex work styles according to the audience to get the best out of interactions
  • Calm, collaborative, and proactive, with excellent organisational skills
  • Familiar with the creative process (CMS, Analytics, SEO), and comfortable leading a large team of creative specialists.
