Position: Part-Time PPA Cover Teacher

Working Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Shift: Morning and Afternoon Sessions
About the Role:
Aspire People is seeking a dedicated and versatile PPA Cover Teacher for a reputable school in Gloucester. This part-time position involves working on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, covering both morning and afternoon sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Morning Sessions: Teach Maths and Phonics to Years 1, 2, and 3.
- Afternoon Sessions: Provide PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) cover for Years 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons across multiple year groups.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the varying needs of pupils.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage pupil behaviour effectively.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity and consistency in teaching.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching primary school pupils, particularly in Maths and Phonics.
- Ability to teach across different year groups (Years 1-5).
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in various classroom settings.
