Position Summary

Are you an experienced IT manager with a background in the Manufacturing Industry? Do you have prior experience of ERP/CRM upgrades and integration projects? If the answer to both of these things is yes, we have a vacancy open in the Leeds area for an experienced individual to join a fantastic manufacturing organisation who are on the cusp of upgrading their ERP System to a customised solution from the British ERP Developer Exel. The EFACS ERP solution will be rolled out over the coming months and we want someone to work in close partnership with the vendor and Project Management team to ensure a smooth transition.

We also want someone to take ownership of the "Business As Usual" activity within the existing IT estate, taking responsibility for their hardware, software and network and acting as the key point of contact for their various vendors and support partners in the IT space.

Duties:

  • Work with the Project Manager / Provider to deliver business-process IT improvements and support the wider integration of our recently upgraded ERP system.
  • Ensure change within the IT estate is managed to minimise risk to business services. Troubleshoot IT issues related to hardware, software and network systems.
  • Be a key stakeholder in our ERP implementation project to include the specifying and deployment of shop floor data capture hardware.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational polices and regulations.
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience of leading IT service transition activities in a physical and cloud environment.
  • Extensive experience with Office365, Exchange online, SharePoint and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of network and server infrastructure.
  • Strong experience within the Manufacturing Industry

Qualifications:

  • Microsoft certification e.g Modern Desktop Administrator (desirable)
  • Proven experience in IT management roles
  • Strong knowledge of network support, disaster recovery, and systems engineering
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders effectively
  • Proficiency in using Excel for data analysis purposes
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently

Job Details:

Permanent / Full Time 37.5 hours per week. (8:15 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, Friday 8:15 – 12:45)

Salary £45- 50k per annum.
