Field Service Engineer

£32,000 - £35,000 + Van & Fuel Card, Overtime & Call Out
We are currently seeking several Field Service Engineers to join our large Technology and Solutions clients. The role will be covering the Southwest with a salary up to £35,000 plus a van, fuel card, overtime and call out Rota.
Responsibilities for Field Service Engineer
- Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on all air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and ancillary equipment.
- Troubleshoot and perform diagnostics on malfunctioning equipment.
- Document all work performed daily.
- Participate in a rotating on - call schedule and be able to work overtime on short notice.
- Develop by learning VSD's, refrigeration, industrial networks, remote monitoring, and air audits.
- Respond to customer needs and work to satisfy customer expectations.
- Promote and practice proper safety procedures and the correct use of personal protective equipment.
- Work as a team sharing knowledge with colleagues and participate in training of self and others.
Requirements for Field Service Engineer
- Previous experience in an industrial electrical or mechanical position
- Mechanical or electrical qualification - qualified by experience.
- Work on-site and will need to travel throughout your region.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Computer literate can learn new systems.
- Participate in the call out rota.
