Restaurant General Manager, London £55k + bonus (KPI based)
Located in the heart of the West End of London, this Michelin recommended restaurant offers unique, high quality food set in a sleek modern environment alongside a stunning cocktail bar. With 45 covers in the restaurant and the bar seating around 20, the restaurant currently offers a dinner service only.
As the Restaurant General Manager, you will be
- Responsible for the day to day running of the front of house and service
- Priorising jobs
- Leading, managing and inspiring the team as well as recruiting and developing
- Working as part of a close knit team
- Ensuring a high standard of customer service and experience is offered to every customer
- Working closely with the owners to drive and evolve the business
- Liaising with the Head Chef to ensure smooth communication between FOH and BOH
Restaurant opening hours are Monday to Saturday, 5.30pm - 11pm/11.30pm
You, as our ideal candidate would
- Be Restaurant General Manager or an Assistant/Deputy General Manager looking for a step up
- Have a strong background within fine dining, high quality, fresh food restaurants
- Have good financial acumen and understanding for budgets and P&L
- Hold exceptional customer service skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation
- Be passionate, driven and enthusiastic with an open mind and a keenness to develop
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Thrive in a fast paced environment, keeping calm and level headed
- Demonstrate level headed thinking with the ability to problem solve
