Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated and dynamic Gas Engineer to join their growing Repairs team.   • You'll have the opportunity to join our overtime rota, paid at time and a half, and callout duties for up to £26.71ph.

  • Fixed Shift Pattern - 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 4pm on Fridays in summer. In the winter, these hours will be 8am to 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am to 3.30pm on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring all works are undertaken to agreed quality standards, within appropriate timescales/ priorities and in line with customer needs and expectations as well as the needs of the business.
  • Deliver excellent customer service through excellent communication with residents and all other stakeholders in accordance with their objectives and values.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment: leaving the site/property clean, tidy and free from obstructions in line with Waste Management procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ability to organise own resources to achieve a standard of excellence, delivering high productivity for self, team and customers.
  • Participate in out of hours services and undertake overtime as and when required, in line with business need.
  • Signpost customers and stakeholders in relation to safeguarding, ASB, or other housing-related issues where possible, reporting identified issues to line management for further action where required.
  • Responsible for the appropriate use and condition of Company-provided assets (i.e. vehicles, PDAs, tools, equipment, PPE etc.)

About You:

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers, verbally, electronically, and face to face
  • Effective use of IT and media as appropriate (incl. PDAs)
  • Experienced in the safe use of plant, equipment, PPE and can demonstrate the relevant appreciation of Health &
  • NVQ Level 3 / Craft Certificate in Gas Fitting
  • Essential- Domestic: ACS, CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, CPA1, HTR1, MET1
  • Full UK driving licence essential
