Gardener - Private Residence
Hours: Mon-Fri 8-5pm (4pm in the winter)
Salary: £30,000-37,000
This role is for an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy Gardener looking for full-time permanent work. Our client, based in Ingatestone, Essex is seeking a passionate individual to join their team at a private residence to take care of their beautiful classical 'Plantsman's Garden'.

- Full-time position: You'll be working five days a week, so you'll have a stable and consistent schedule. Hours are 8am-5pm during the summer months and 8am-4pm during the winter months
Main duties:
- Get your hands dirty and immerse yourself in the world of gardening by tending to the various plants and flowers including exotic plants.
- Operating and maintaining garden tools
- A valid driving licence will be necessary, as you might need to drive from time to time.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Knowledge of gardening and horticulture
- Solid understanding of plants, their care, and maintenance (especially of uncommon and harder to find species of plants)
- Horticultural qualification Level 2
- Pesticide certificates or willing to be trained
