Your new role
- Initially to provide support to the two partners with their caseload with a view to progressing to managing your own varied caseload
- Take responsibility for managing your own time and work, including prioritising and being proactive where appropriate
- Keep up to date with changes in the law
- Strong communication skills with team members
- Recognition and commitment to the importance of meeting time and financial targets
- Actively engage with marketing and business development activity
- Appropriate IT competency and ability to commensurate with the role
- Work and behave in a professional manner and to the highest standards of the profession
- Comply with procedures set out in the office manual, professional standards and any requirement set by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
What you'll need to succeed
As a junior solicitor, you will have a strong understanding of family law matters with previous practical experience in a law firm. You will be a team player whilst able to take ownership and be accountable and responsible for own work.
