Accelerate Teaching is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and passionate Teacher of Science to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Leeds starting September 2024. We are seeking a committed educator with a strong track record and a zeal for inspiring young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and dynamic science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience and contribute to the school's continuous improvement.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the school community.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds a relevant teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrates a proven track record of successful science teaching.

  • Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
