Our client is well-established within the Aerospace sector and are looking for a confident and passionate Quality Inspector to be responsible for ensuring all components have been manufactured to the satisfaction of AS9100 Accreditation as well as internal standards.
Quality Inspector Job Description
- Record all suppliers' non-conformities (NC's)
- Interpretation of blueprints/drawings and inspection of complex Aerospace components using principles, inspection equipment and CMMs
- Maintain and collate all relevant paperwork, ensuring traceability for each component
- Create qualification assessment documents (QAD) to define process checks to all operational staff
Quality Inspector Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, participants and external stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational/planning skills.
- Fully conversant with the interpretation of complex engineering drawings and specifications
- Previous experience working within a Manufacturing environment
