Following an internal promotion I am partnering with an established company on the outskirts of Preston close to motorway links who are appointing a Management Accountant. This is an opportunity offering scope for progression in the Finance team and the encouragement to develop in a supportive environment. As the Management Accountant, you will enjoy a varied role reporting to the Financial Controller and your duties will include:
- Preparation of the monthly management accounts pack
- Responsibility for intercompany transactions and cashbooks
- Manipulation of data to provide detailed analysis for the board
- Ensuring the company comply with relevant statutory regulations
- Ad- hoc reporting to support with company financial decisions
This role will suit an experienced Management Accountant or an Assistant Accountant who has good exposure and is keen to progress. A positive work ethic and commitment to progress are important alongside strong IT and excel skills. You will have the opportunity to progress and study further with the support of a small team.
