This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to inspire and educate students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 in a supportive and thriving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across KS3-KS5, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject.
- Create and implement effective lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and promote student engagement.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on students' progress, helping them achieve their academic potential.
- Work collaboratively with the Science department to develop and enhance the Physics curriculum.
- Engage in professional development and participate in school activities, including parents' evenings and staff meetings.
- Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree in Physics or a related field.
- Experience teaching Physics at KS3-KS5 in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum and contemporary educational practices.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to students' academic and personal development.
