Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Physics Teacher for a mainstream secondary school in Tamworth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher to inspire and educate students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 in a supportive and thriving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality Physics lessons to students across KS3-KS5, fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of the subject.
  • Create and implement effective lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and promote student engagement.
  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on students' progress, helping them achieve their academic potential.
  • Work collaboratively with the Science department to develop and enhance the Physics curriculum.
  • Engage in professional development and participate in school activities, including parents' evenings and staff meetings.
  • Uphold the school's commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • A degree in Physics or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Physics at KS3-KS5 in a secondary school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum and contemporary educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to students' academic and personal development.
