Data Analyst Apprentice

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice.
Alongside completing a Level 4 Data apprenticeship, you will be joining as an Assistant Consultant as part of a dynamic, and supportive Planning Team.

Location: London (SE1) -- candidates must come from the local region.

  • This role will focus on developing and innovating our data visualisation
  • You will be involved in the production of visualisation tools for our clients
  • Ensure data is appropriately stored and archived, in line with relevant legislation
  • Provide regular reports & analysis to different management/leadership teams, ensuring data is used and represented ethically in line with relevant legislation
  • Liaise with the client and/or colleagues from other areas of the organisation to establish reporting needs and deliver accurate information.

What we are looking for:
Experience/skills required:

  • Good knowledge of Office 365 packages
  • Demonstrate an interest in technology and data
  • Able to develop a specification for visualisation / data analytics following interactions with stakeholders (colleagues / clients)
  • Be confident articulating new ideas and helping to share knowledge with other staff

Personal qualities:

  • Demonstrates teamwork, collaborative approach, among the first to volunteer to help others succeed
  • Apply effective communications at all levels, embracing teamwork and managing time and tasks efficiently
  • Client & delivery focus, meeting and exceeding client expectations

Entry requirements:
Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

  • 5 GCSE's, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Compensation:
The salary is £25,643 per annum.

  • In addition to base salary, all employees will be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
  • Steer reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional compensation.
