Rate: £550-£600outside IR35

Location: Bristol (Remote, once a month in the office)

Job Type: 6 month contract

About Us: We are looking for a highly skilled Security Design Engineer to join our team in a leading and innovative financial services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to take a leading role in security initiatives and drive the development of secure solutions across the organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in Security Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of security plans and road maps, ensuring the application of best practices in security architecture.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the wider architect community and business stakeholders to identify key security requirements, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Community Engagement: Actively participate in the broader architecture community within the organisation, sharing best practices and providing insights to improve security outcomes.
  • Solution Design: Design secure solutions as part of enterprise-wide projects and programs, ensuring they meet both business and security requirements.

Skills Required:

  • Security Architecture Expertise: Proven experience in Security Architecture and Application Security, with a deep understanding of security principles and practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong technical background across multiple security domains, with familiarity in cloud security standards, particularly in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Agile/DevSecOps Experience: Experience working within Agile and DevSecOps frameworks, with a focus on integrating security into the development process.
  • Salesforce Experience (Desirable): Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud and Salesforce OmniStudio is highly desirable
