HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted In WILLOW GREEN!
Logistics People are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers/HGV Drivers/LGV Class 1 Drivers/LGV Drivers/Class 1 Drivers working on a Full time Equivalent (FTE) basis at our Eddie Stobart Willow Green depot.
Our customer is one of the biggest names within the HGV industry, with the latest vehicles on the market, which means you get the best HGV experience and a top range vehicle to work with.
***6 Months Of HGV Class 1 Driving Experience Required***

Working Hours:
- Various Days and Night Shifts Available - Various Start Times
Pay Rate:
- Weekday Start Window 06:00 - 18:00: £18.03 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
- Weekday Start Window 18:00 - 00:00: £19.82 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
- Weekday Start Window 00:00 - 06:00: £21.63 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
- Weekend Start Window 06:00 - 18:00: £19.82 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
- Weekday Start Window 18:00 - 00:00: £21.63 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
- Weekday Start Window 00:00 - 06:00: £23.42 P/hr Including Holiday Pay
About this role:
- Ambient work – You will be driving ambient products that do not require temperate checks.
- **Trunking – You will be driving on a regular route, including long haul transportation of goods between distribution hubs.
- **Store Delivery –**Transporting various type of goods from location to stores.
- General haulage – Transporting various types of goods from location to location**.**
- Manual handling - This involves physically lifting, carrying, and moving goods as needed during loading and unloading operations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.
About You:
- You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 6 months HGV Class 1 driving experience.
- No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
- Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
- Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
- Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
- Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
- Excellent communication skills
