Warehouse Manager
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract, Full-time (40 hours per week), Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm
Location: Waltham Abbey
Salary: £30,000 per annum
SUMMARY
Purchasing stock and safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing Stock Procurement and forecasting - via Sage50 Accounts.
- Picking and packing of orders.
- Overall responsibility of all goods in and out.
- Liaison with key suppliers.
- Maintenance of stock control system in finance package.
- Tracking of customer orders.
- Warehouse Health and Safety.
- Exhibition and event support.
- Raising and addressing of activities associated with non-conformances, planned deviations, changes, risks and improvements as required.
- Adhere to ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 requirements in testing and quality control procedures.
- To adhere to company policies and the Health and Safety and business systems manuals.
- To ensure commitment to impartiality and confidentiality, integrity and accessibility of information.
- Adhering to all policy, procedure, regulatory, customer and standard requirements relating to quality, information security and environmental management systems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years warehouse experience or educated to degree level or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.
- Numerically proficient.
