Reporting to the Head of Operations, we are looking for a confident Sales and Operations Planner who has a "can-do- attitude". Personal character, attitude and supply chain experience are primary requisites. We are looking for demonstratable experience in Supply Planning chain ( Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, or I nventory Planning ) and or supply chain management in a manufacturing environment.
You must be an Excel wiz and have solid forecasting and ERP experience. Ideally, you will have a Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics degree. CIPS or APICS would be a huge benefit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continually develop statistical models to optimise the performance of the forecasting software .
- Review and analyse forecast demand versus actual demand , understanding changes and trends.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to ensure future promotions, visible impact orders, and new product forecasts are included in aggregate demand.
- Assist sales in resolving short-term key supply challenges by allocating stock across relevant sales channels.
- Share monthly 18 months' forecasts.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of demand planning and S&OP processes.
- Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics.
