Robert Half are supporting a charity in Edinburgh city centre to appoint a Finance Manager.
This is a well renowned charity with a fantastic reputation for supporting people through challenging circumstances. The role of Finance Manager is a hands-on position, and you will be involved in all aspects of the finance department.
Main Responsibilities
- Budgeting and forecasting, cash flow planning
- Analysing financial trends and variances
- Compiling monthly payroll and monthly returns to pension providers.
- Supporting with the financial strategy
- Ensuring audit, tax, and financial regulations are met
- Implementing and managing financial systems
Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or other relevant)
- Solid understanding of financial regulations and standards
- A good communicator with leadership skills
- Good analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills and proficient in financial software
- A strategic thinker with problem solving skills
- Charity experience
On Offer
- Competitive salary of £50,000-£60,000
- Hybrid working
- Flexible working arrangements can be discussed
