Excellent role on offer for a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to join a busy, growing company, where you will be working on bespoke products within specialist industries, with the opportunity to progress through the business into more senior roles.

On offer is the chance for career progression, delivering the full mechanical design process, including preparing designs, working to customers expectations, all the way through to liaising with manufacturing staff for production.
This companies continued growth, coupled with their on-going desire to improve their products has led to a vacancy of an mechanical design engineer. You will be working in an established, multi-disciplinary team to complete the introduction of new products into the business, as well as develop and improve existing design.
In this role you will be responsible for using SolidWorks software, designing and developing components, assisting with testing of products and creating BoM's.
The ideal candidate will have good experience using SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software, knowledge of general engineering manufacturing/fabrication, and be keen to progress their career. This is a great opportunity to join an fantastic company, working on some exciting, bespoke projects in specialist industries.
The Role
- 2D & 3D Designing on SolidWorks software
- Working on projects to improve new and existing products.
- Contribute to testing, create BoM's, liaise with other departments
- £30,000 - £35,000 + progression + 33 days holiday + pension + medical cash plan
The Person
- Experience in SolidWorks/3D Software
- Knowledge/Experience in sheet metals and welding
- Sound mechanical knowledge/background
