I am working alongsidea full-service law firm, with multiple offices in the Northeast. They are currently seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee and streamline their administrative operations.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth running of the office and supporting wider business functions.

Responsibilities of Office Manager:

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations, including supplies, equipment, mail, archiving, and contracts (e.g. cleaning and maintenance).
  • Lead and manage a team of administrative staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Manage office budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Implement and uphold administrative policies and procedures.
  • Support cross-department communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
  • Oversee health and safety procedures, including risk assessments.
  • Manage reception and switchboard, ensuring a professional and welcoming front-of-house service.

Requirements for Office Manager:

  • Proven experience in office management or senior administrative roles.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
