Client Details
Our client are a 3PL with long serving and loyal customer partnerships. The role will cover the Night shift between 18:00 & 06:00 for 7 nights of 14 giving
Description
As a Transport Shift Manager you will take charge of operations, ensuring smooth and efficient transport processes are maintained at all times. You will lead a dedicated team including admin, drivers and support, to achieve the nightly workload to pre-determined productivity and service level targets. You will ensure total compliance to all legislation relating to health & safety, employment law, EU / company hygiene standards.
Profile
To be successful in your applications you must have previous experience working with Logistics and within a Transport department. A Management CPC would be advantageous but not essential but you must have a good knowledge and understanding of industry legislation and developments relating to transport. Previous experience of planning and scheduling would be great and those who have worked with Paragon are encouraged to apply. You will be require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
