Role Overview: As a KS1 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality education to young learners in a supportive and nurturing environment. You will inspire and engage students, fostering a love for learning and helping them to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and development.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1 students.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the wider school community.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
